Last post of 2024 PLUS some news about 2025...
Happy Thursday, cycling fans!
I started this blog just in time for the Vuelta a Espana earlier this year, but didn't really know what I was doing, so just sort of let my brain go with the flow. As such, I basically just did a small bit of writing and then posted the podiums for each stage.
Over the last few weeks, however, I've decided to change things around a bit for the 2025 season (which kicks off in Australia in January with the Tour Down Under for both the men's and women's seasons). I will be doing a longer and more informative write up of each race (or each week of a multi-week race such as the Grand Tours). I will endeavour to have this published each Monday through the cycling season, however there may be some weeks in which it ends up being on the Tuesday or later.
I started this blog because I am an aspiring sports journalist and broadcaster and I do also follow other sports - particularly football (I'm a season ticket holder at my local football club and occasionally attend away games when possible). I also follow rugby union, cricket and ice hockey.
Thank you very much for reading, and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas, happy holidays and a prosperous New Year for 2025.
I'll be back in January for my Tour Down Under (men's and women's) reports. Take care, have a good few weeks and see you then!
