2024 Track World Championships Results

 Happy Monday Tuesday, cycling fans!


Last week our attention turned from the road to the track with the UCI Track World Championships.

Denmark played host this year, with the velodrome just outside of Copenhagen giving us plenty of action over 5 days of thrilling racing.

Below are the results of each race.


Women's Team Sprint

1st: Great Britain (Sophie Capewell, Emma Finucane, Katy Marchant)
2nd: Netherlands (Kimberly Kalee, Hetty van de Wouw, Steffie van der Peet; Kyra Lamberink replaced)
3rd: Australia (Kristina Clonan, Alessia McCaig, Molly McGill)

Men's Team Sprint

With the Track World Championships over - and what an event it was! - I will be back on Monday 25th November, which is just over a month away, with the results of the first round of the UCI Track Champions League which takes place on Saturday 23rd November at Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines near Paris, which was the venue for the track cycling at this year's Olympic and Paralympic Games!
